Get Involved & Share your Story

Your feedback can help to make important changes in how cancer care is delivered. The London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) at London Health Sciences Centre, in conjunction with Cancer Care Ontario, is committed to learning from patient and caregiver experiences in order to improve care. The approach is called Experience Based Design, and it enables healthcare providers to understand the experience of healthcare from the patient, caregiver as well as the staff perspective.

Using experience to design better healthcare is unique in the way that it focuses strongly on capturing and understanding the patient, caregiver and staff experiences of services; not just their views of the process like the speed and efficiency at which they travel through the system. Instead, this approach deliberately draws out the personal feelings that a patient and caregiver experience at crucial points along their cancer journey.

So, how can you help?

The London Regional Cancer Program wants to learn from you. Your stories will help to identify ways to improve the patient experience at LRCP.

  • Have you or a loved one completed treatment at the London Regional Cancer Program within the last two years?
  • Are you willing to share the experience that you or a loved one had with the care you were provided at LRCP?
